Dr. Jason Long
Dr. Jason Long is part-owner of Yorkville Animal Hospital. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University and graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. His professional veterinary interests are internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and laser surgery. He is very active during his spare time, which includes golfing, playing softball and participating in long-distance races.
Dr. Jami Fourez
Dr. Jami Fourez grew up on a farm in Central Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Illinois and continued on to the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2007. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine and preventative medicine. Dr. Fourez enjoys spending time with her three dogs (Oskee, Chief and Tannin), reading and boating.
Dr. Stephanie Oedewaldt
Dr. Stephanie Oedewaldt was born and raised in a small town in Central Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Illinois and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She shares her home with three cats (Lois, Clark and Lex) and her dog, Rita.
Dr. Donna Jacobsen
Dr. Jacobsen grew up in Long Branch, NJ and attended Yale University where she obtained a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and then went on to complete a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ. Dr. Jacobsen’s professional interests include surgery, critical care and metabolic disorders. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and keeping active with CrossFit. Dr. Jacobsen shares her home with three dogs (Jersey, Libby and Finnegan), two cats (Taco and Lola) and a guinea pig named Squeaks.
Dr. Stephanie Palumbo
Dr. Stephanie Palumbo was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She completed her B.S in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois and continued on to the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2016. Her professional interests include surgery, preventative medicine and geriatric care. Dr. Palumbo enjoys spending time with her cat (Lupin) and horse (Sundance), traveling, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
